Cefuroxime Axetil 500 mg

• A second-generation cephalosporin with enhanced beta-lactamase stability

• Displays excellent activity against staphylococcal strains, streptococcal strains (other than enterococci), N.gonorrhoeae, H.influenzae and N.meningitidis

• Also active against certain cephalothin, cefamandole and gentamicin-resistant bacteria

• Useful as step-down therapy of cefuroxime sodium
injectable therapy

• Community-acquired pneumonia

• Urinary tract infections

• Bone and Joint infections

• Skin and soft tissue infections

• Gonorrhea

• URTI & LRTI
• Post surgical condition
